The ultimate family destination for relaxation and fun is Phuket in Thailand. With so many accommodation options on offer the choice can be overwhelming. Here are my top 'Travel + Kids' accommodation picks for families with budget in mind.

Nestled on the southwestern coast of Phuket, this luxurious oasis offers the perfect blend of tranquility and family fun, less than one hour from Phuket International Airport. This tropical oasis nestled in the hills between Kata and Karon beach is designed with families in mind and is the perfect setting for a relaxed family getaway. Many of the rooms have both a king and queen bed with complementary kids fun room set up. There is something for kids of all ages, for the younger ones there is kids club, shallow pools, slides and splash pad. For older kids there is a VR games room, pool table and underwater scooters available. The stunning Kata beach is a one minute complementary shuttle ride away from the resort. Keep in mind that access to the resort is located up a steep slope for families with a pram or mobility issues if not using the shuttle. Swim up to the bar for happy hour each afternoon where you'll receive 2 for 1 drinks, and kids have free ice cream all day. There are several onsite restaurants that come highly recommended. Being nestled on the hillside means there are spectacular views of the Andaman Sea, however there is quite an incline throughout the resort, so you need to consider this if mobility is an issue. Get pampered at Soothe spa for total relaxation, and if budget allows, consider booking a private pool villa. Head to the stylish Sip Bar for your evening drinks and a snack while chilling on the balcony sofas.
